Sample Gifted Program - Gifted India Network
Identification
All students qualify through the "above-level" assessments conducted by Educational Initiatives (Asset Talent Search - ATS). The top 20% ATS Scholars (or equivalent) was invited to participate in the fully-Residential program held at Manipal Academy for Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal during May 2022.
Student Profile
Nearly 100 students, represented by gifted students from all corners of India, between Grades 4 through 10, attended the Program. Schools represented include Jamnabhai Narsee (Mumbai), Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan (Chennai), Inventure Academy (Bengaluru), Heritage Xperiential (NCR), Sanskriti The Gurukul (Guwahati), Fravashi International (Nashik), Modern High School (Kolkata), Oakridge International (Hyderabad), Ahmedabad International School (Ahmedabad), Kunskapskolaan (Gurugram), The Galaxy School (Rajkot), among others.

Venue
The Program was held at the international-quality university environment of the Manipal Academy for Higher Education (MAHE). Students were housed in pairs at the New International Hostel, and the classrooms were at the Manipal Institute of Technology. MAHE campus includes the prestigious Kasturba Medical College and Hospital, to take care of the emergency medical needs of students.

Students got to sample a diverse menu - Indian/ Continental - including Vegan, Jain and other custom requirement.
